Library -- Kitch Lit Book Discussion Group
Thursday, January 28, 2021
Join us on Zoom (link will be sent out the day before the event) for Crafty Kitch Lit. Our fabulous book discussion group meets on the last Thursday of the month to work on crafts and discuss the monthly food related book selection. While we are unable to meet in person at this time, we still love meeting with patrons and discussing books. This month we are discussing Debbie Macomber's "Alaskan Holiday". Before beginning her new job as sous chef at one of Seattle's finest restaurants, Josie Stewart takes on a six-month position cooking at a lodge in an Alaskan lake town. It's only temporary--or so she thinks, as she becomes a valued part of the local community, falling in love with the people who call the Klutina Lake home. But one man, in particular, stands out among the rest of Josie's new friends: an intriguing swordsmith whose existence forces her to question whether her heart wants to return to Washington at all. Book copies still available through the library's curbside service.
